Beautiful experience!
My boyfriend and I stayed in a lakeside cabana beautifully decorated and spacious, and best of all: a great view of the lake. Only two of the cabanas have a/c- the rainforest casitas. Although we didn’t have a/c (which was what I wanted) the overhead fan was more than enough to cool us at night. The night tour and other activities were very well planned, we saw tons of wildlife, and ate delicious local food every day. Also, they arranged for us to go to Flores for some last minute shopping (thanks for that!) Very friendly staff, and they all- I mean ALL, not just the guides- speak excellent English.

the best staff
I had a great time in Guatemala, and I should say a huge part of it is thanks to the staff at La Lancha. They spoke great English and helped me plan my trip and arranged most of it. There are no TVs, phones, or internet at La Lancha, but when is that a problem when you’re surrounded by the most beautiful plants and animals? The food was very local and delicious as well. I highly recommend it, especially if it’s your first time in Guatemala.
