Nice Siem Reap Visit
I visited Siem Reap Cambodia during my holidays and stayed at Lotus Resort and Spa for 4 nights.. men! this place is amazing! small boutique hotel for only 100 rooms but big (really big) and spacious room and surroundings. Its like you paid for your own space when you are inside. nice location too, not far from town and airport (just in the middle).

Eco services is hard to find in Siem Reap... Lots of plastic every where specially in downtown area (wondering if these clogs up their sewage system - if they've got any). I am very choosy person specially in terms of dining and find Lotus Pond inside Lotus Resort & Spa is a good place to order good organic food.. - try their organic salad! its good! here's their website: lotusangkor.com

5 days 4 nights is my itinerary here in Siem Reap, Cambodia and here are my top 5 picks for other travelers not to miss out:

1. Visit Angkor City - not only Angkor Wat - there are so many temples within the City.. you will love it. buy for the 3 days ticket.. its worth it.

2. Visit the Tonle Sap lake - I am lucky that I arrived during rainy season and water tide is high... you can see the whole stretch of Tonle Sap lake wide and full of living organisms.. good for photo shooting

3. Join or Do some Charity Works - I love to help people that's why I shared this... there are lots of charitable institutions around Siem Reap.. ask your Receptionist (if you are staying in a hotel for suggestion - I asked mine and suggested a very good place for me to engage with.. by the way, watch out for those fakes centers..)

4. Eat Amok, Lok-Lak, Dried Fish and Siem Reap Sausage and Organic Salad (Lotus Pond).. For me its very good... you can find this anywhere in Siem Reap. by the way, if you will try their dried fish or sausages.. fry them but avoid to toast.. eat while hot! Enjoy

5. If you plan to stay longer or the same as mine, then stay at Lotus Resort and Spa.. believe me.. after a long day at the temple or to any other place, you will be needing a good rest with a good service.. Hey, they've got good big swimming pool - I am sure you will love it.. This hotel is not that perfect but I have no complains.. the staff are great and friendly, the price is fair and to top them all, they are following eco friendly suggestions...
