beautiful
Great cabanas within a beautiful natural environment. the windows are huge and the bed was very comfortable (a must after traveling throughout the country and going from adventure to adventure). Try to join one of the tours offered by the reserve, because the guide is a genius, and fun, too. You can also go onto Lake Peten Itza (a gem) on one of the lodge’s kayaks. The only problem, at least when I went there, is that only the owners speak English. But then, it’s a great opportunity to practice your Spanish.
