EcoTulum Resorts & Spa joined forces in 2006 with Registered Nurse Nancy Myers to help promote her Give a Toy Get a Smile toy drive for underprivileged Cancun children. EcoTulum Resorts has set up a drop off station at Cabañas Copal in Tulum to accept new toys to help Nancy with her project, supported by the charity Give a Toy, Get a Smile, a non-profit organization whose aim is to improve the lives of the less fortunate children in and around Cancun, Mexico.

Visitors to the Cancun-Riviera Maya area are being asked to save extra luggage space to bring down new toys for holiday distribution to underprivileged children. The first toys will be distributed among children in the Learning to Live with AIDS-HIV program. The next toy run will include local government hospitals to distribute toys to the kids that are there during the holidays. Lastly, the toys will be distributed among the outskirts of Cancun, where children live in very simple homes.

Hello! I think this is a very interesting project and I´d love to help her with some toys. Right now I´m getting a course in Argentina with no plans of traveling to Mexico. Is there any other way I can cooperate in this? I would appreciate if you provided me with some extra info regarding that.. Thanks!
