Barbados Summary
Barbados, a Caribbean island northeast of Venezuela, has long been considered a traveler’s paradise for its boundless possibilities. In the North, coral and sandstone cliffs seem to rise straight out of the sea, while the South and West show a more balanced landscape, with endless white beaches broken by the occasional cluster of coral rocks. When visiting the island, one can snorkel, sail, or swim the warm, welcoming waters, explore underground caves, or bathe under flowing cascades and waterfalls. Nature-lovers can also visit the Barbados Wildlife Reserve, where many animals roam free in their natural environment. Everything seems like a discovery in this island where natural treasures abound.

Lovely
I simply loved our stay in Barbados. It was the perfect getaway and ideal place for relaxing. I’d read comments in other websites that islanders are slow and rude, but that is not the case at all. They do have a very laidback style, but that is the point when the purpose of your vacation is to relax. I loved the fact that the people took their time and smiled at everything. It was quite comforting. Although there are plenty of activitites available, such as snorkeling and the like, my husband and I spent most of our time sunbathing. We also took a day to visit the island’s wildlife reserve, which was very rewarding. Barbados has a special charm which all travelers should be lucky enough to know.
