swimming with the sharks
I wanted a relaxing vacation, to get my energy back, no thrilling activities, so I stayed at lovely Hotel Wayak but if you’re looking for thrilling activities, you can always book a tour to go swimming with the sharks.

Try the community tour given by Cesiak. All the money goes back to preserving the reserve. Great place for wildlife viewing, and the tour guides are extremely knowledgeable.

Very nice...
Hey Fran,
I went to Cozumel on my summer vacations on a cruise. We made a stop at Cozumel. The only thing I have to say is that it was INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!! The waters are crystal clear and you can see the fishes swin around you by just looking down. Their are also bars on the coast, we rented a jeep to actually drive around Cozumel, it made it much simpler for us. We also visited some ruins, I recommend taking some bug repellent. Alot of mosquitos!! But it was awesome!! A trip to never forget...

Area Access?
Hello! This is a question from a newcomer, so have patience.. my question is:

Is anyone here aware of internet access and public transportation in the area? Thing is I'll probably be backpacking through and I'm running a bit short on budget to rent a car. Any alternatives are welcome! (including shared car rental if anyone's in the area around Oct 08!)

Also, on the internet issue, anyone knows if there's internet access and where? That is fundamental for me!

Thanks!
