National Park
This region has many national parks to choose from. I would recommend Cahuita National Park, although I might be saying this because I loved the eco-lodge I stayed at next to the Park, Selva Bananito. Read my review on this lodge, you might find it helpful. Also, if you have time and like surfing, try to visit Puerto Viejo Beach.

Eco-Friendly in Costa Rica
Costa Rica is well known for eco-tourism. Unfortunately many tourists don't consider the importance of buying eco-friendly souvenirs to take back home.

Now, when traveling to Costa Rica you can purchase eco-friendly products from Red Eye FrogX. Check out their website at redeyefrogx.com

Red Eye FrogX is a Costa Rican eco-friendly clothing company that offers men's bamboo/organic cotton shirts, women's organic cotton/hemp shirts and tank tops, bamboo/cotton baseball hats, and organic cotton tote bags.

The company is also dedicated to supporting local Costa Rican foundations that are working toward preserving the environment and species. Red Eye FrogX donates 10% of their profits to Vida Marina Foundation in Drake Bay, Costa Rica.
