great wine
Try a tour of the vineyards. You'll be drinking the best wine in all of Italy, for just a few euros.

for food
Nice place to relax in after sightseeing in Florence. You can walk bout the little town of Impruneta and find some great restaurants (or, like we did, go to the Coop, buy anything you need, and prepare it at Relais Villa L´Omo, the wonderful villa we stayed in)

duomo and piazzale- 2 musts
Agree with lylybud, you should definitely see the Duomo (Cathedral). It’s very impressive. Also go to Piazzele Michelangiolo for the most beautiful panoramic view of Florence.

nice place to stay
Besides visiting the city, you can relax out in the valley. A stay at Agritruismo Podere la Casellina is very promising.

landmark
There are plenty of basilicas to explore, and of course the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Florence’s most famous landmark.
